

Established in 1989 to preserve and utilize valuable materials handed down from the predecessor school when the university campus was relocated from Kanazawa Castle Site. Former teaching materials such as beautifully shaped physics experiment apparatus and mushroom moulage specimens that allow you to observe mushrooms as they were 100 years ago are fun-to-see natural museum materials in the museum's collection. The museum also holds many archive such as timetables that show the hard work of medical students 100 years ago, as well as archaeological materials excavated within the campus.

A comprehensive natural history museum that opened in 2006. They collect and store specimen materials related to Ishikawa prefecture's nature (fauna, flora, rocks, fossils, etc.) and conduct research on them. The results are exhibited in permanent, temporary and special exhibitions, disseminating a variety of information to the citizens of the prefecture. They also hold physics experiment equipment that was used at Fourth High School, and some of it is on display. The museum focuses on educational activities and holds events such as specimen preparation classes and nature observation sessions and lectures, providing a variety of opportunities to become familiar with the nature of Ishikawa.

A museum with the theme of philosophy, which is rare in Japan. The exhibition spaces introduce the achievements and character of NISHIDA Kitaro, a world-famous philosopher from Kahoku City, and the introduction to philosophy area encourages contemplation through video and audio. The interior of the building, designed by ANDO Tadao, has spaces for contemplation and dialogue, as well as a cafe, library and observation lounge, all of which are comfortable and easy to use.

Opened in 1998 as an open facility for the excavation and organization of excavated artifacts and the publication of reports on buried cultural properties (archaeological sites) that convey the history and culture of Ishikawa prefecture, as well as to hold exhibitions and lectures that make use of the results. The exhibition rooms comprise sections organized by theme and era, where you can see and touch precious earthenware and stone tools discovered from archaeological sites throughout the prefecture. In 2001, they also opened the Ancient Experience Area, where you can enjoy learning about the lives and techniques of ancient people. Both adults and children can learn about local history in an accessible and easy manner, while deepening their interest and understanding of cultural properties.

A local history museum that opened in 1983. They collect materials that convey the history and culture of Hakui City (archaeological materials, historical materials, folk implements, etc.), preserve them, conduct research on them and display them publicly. The folk implements exhibition room on the first floor explains the tools used in Hakui's past way of living. The history exhibition room on the second floor displays valuable excavated items mainly from the Yoshisaki-Suba Site, a Nationally Designated Historic Site, and the Jike Site, as well as historical materials such as ancient documents. They also hold ancient experience classes and events such as magatama (comma-shaped stone bead) making and fire starting experiences. Please feel free to stop by and experience the history of Hakui.

The Nonoichi City Furusato History Museum opened in April 1992 as a facility that organizes, stores, researches and exhibits cultural properties. It is adjacent to the Okyozuka Site, a National Historic Site, and approximately 800 pieces of Jomon Period earthenware, earthen figurines and stone artifacts excavated from the Okyozuka Site are on display (all are designated Important Cultural Properties). In addition, artifacts from the Yayoi Period to early modern times found during excavations in Nonoichi City are on display. Nonoichi Digital Archives is a digital museum opened in 2013 that introduces Nationally and City-Designated Cultural Properties located in Nonoichi.

The rich nature of Noto, where the sea and mountains meet, and the lives of the people who have lived there in harmony with nature were recognized as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System in 2011.
The museum opened in October 2018, marking 1,300 years since the establishment of Noto Province in 718. It promotes the charm of the Noto Peninsula and introduces the nature, history, and culture of Nanao, which was once the center of Noto Province.
In addition to hands-on exhibits, quiz-style explanations and touch panel searching, there is a Satoyama Satoumi theater where visitors can enjoy beautiful seasonal images and dynamic festival videos of Noto and Nanao on two large screens, making it an educational experience for all ages.
The outdoor observation deck offers a panoramic view of the adjacent national historic site, the ruins of Noto Kokubun-ji Temple.

Opened in 1996, the first floor features a display room for floats and local historical materials, while the second floor is available for conference room rental.
The floats and local historical materials display room showcases traditional floats and introduces float festivals, as well as exhibits of pottery from the Jomon to Yayoi periods unearthed in the town, and Sue ware excavated from ancient kiln sites.
Additionally, there are displays of folk tools, agricultural implements, and a recreated old farmhouse room featuring a sunken hearth, illustrating life from the Meiji to Showa periods.

The Hodatsushimizu Town Buried Cultural Properties Center opened on November 1, 2017, as a facility for the conservation management, investigation research, and public display of buried cultural properties unearthed in the town. Renovation work was carried out in fiscal year 2019, and the exhibition rooms have been open to the public since June 2020.
The first floor features photo panels of designated cultural properties from the town. The second floor includes Exhibition Room 1, which displays artifacts from local archaeological sites ranging from the Jomon period to civil war period, while Exhibition Room 2 showcases materials from the Sagai Collection, which were preserved by local archaeological researchers.
