This house is designated as National Important Cultural Asset. It is the house of the Nakatani family, who served as governers of the shogun’s land. The house has a moat at the front and is surrounded by stone walls. The main building was constructed in 1721. The house was partly damaged by the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. The garden was created in the early Edo Period.
