Seven square-shaped rock-cut graves have been confirmed. Five-story pagodas in the No.1, 2 and 3 caves and Hokyoin tower in the No. 4 cave collapsed due to the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. This is a special cemetery style called “yagura”, which was popular for samurai cemeteries in the Kamakura area during the Middle Ages.
