This is a set of three Buddhist ritual implements: a flower vase, an incense burner, and a candlestick, which are also used in Buddhist altars today.
The Hitotsuhari C Site comprises the remains of a village built on the right bank of the midstream of the Kakehashi River. It is believed that these implements were used in a Buddhist temple built in a palace cm, diameter 9.9 cm) has a cylindrical body with a ridged band around it. The bowl-shaped incense burner (photo center, height 7.5 cm, diameter 10.1 cm) has ears attached to the left and right sides of the body, one of which is missing. The candlestick (photo right, height 28.7 cm, diameter 2.6 cm) is in good condition, including the shaft for holding a candle.
A set similar to this one was excavated from the forest in Takigahara-machi, Komatsu City. This shows that ritual implements made in workshops in Kyoto during the Muromachi Period were also transported to the Kaga region and became popular.
